Allium Purple Sensation is a late spring and early summer bulb garden plant. The plant produces highly decorative and faintly scented globes that can grow to as large as about 4 inches in diameter. Purple Sensation Allium is a wonderful cut flower that will last up to 3 weeks. It grows 3-4' tall, making it an excellent choice for the back of the border. Plant 3-5 allium bulbs per hole for the biggest impact.
